Justin Timberlake’s Sexyback Tour

November 18th, 2007 by jennifer-tyl

What do I need to say? Justin Timberlake has really brought his sexyback to life because his concert at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, was DA BOMB last night. The best concert I’ve seen with great lighting, stage settings and designs, not forgeting the wonderful performance and awesome dance moves by Justin, as well as his dancing crew and musicians. Like I said, it’s the best concert I’ve seen and been to, since Jay Chou’s The One in Malaysia. JT’s one of a kind! He’s the new Michael Jackson of out time! Went there with my China friend Vivian and yeah, can see that she loves it too. A lot of crazy girls screaming there, as usual, it’s a pop concert, guys are more quiet on this one haha. Well, hope to see JT again some time around! Ciao dudes and dudettes!

LP Concert Kicks @$$! What a night!

October 14th, 2007 by jennifer-tyl

14th OCTOBER 2007. LINKIN PARK IN MELBIE.

My second time to Linkin Park’s concert but this time, it’s at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne and boy, it was rockingly grrrrreeeaaat! Better than Malaysia’s Meteora Tour (The only good thing was the "meet and greet session, shooks hands with Chester, weeee!!!). Oh wait…it’s WAAAY BETTER! Went there with Alvin, met our Aussie friend Netzer and also got to know his friend, Emma, she looks cool and friendly, sporting, like most "ang moh" people la. Haha. Anyway, we got there and the whoah, the crowd was huge, excitement pouring into our hearts but first we gotta wait for Chris Cornell, the special guest, to finish performing their music. Then we went wild over LP’s performance. Most of their songs played are the ones from the Minutes to Midnight album. The thrilling part? As usual, it’s when we started to lose control on purpose, headbang all the way and jump up and down, waving our hands with the "RAWK ON" sign. WOOO! and yes, not forgetting singing along with LP, lalalalala, shut up when I’m talking to you!…and the funniest part was when one of the giant idiots start to block my view, Alvin and Netzer took some effort to single-person-carry me up, just so I could see LP better…only for a few seconds and they dropped me, hope that I’m not too heavy ya……but still…aww…you guys are such sweethearts, love ya!!! XD Pity me…I’m just sooo small…T_T

Gotta admit, this is probably my most fun concert ever(second will be Mariah Carey), but not the wildest, the wildest will be Yellowcard/Sum41 club concert, but I got trashed in that one. Back then when I entered Yellowcard/Sum41 gigs, I was pretty noob when it comes to moshing in the crowd, because I was small and not strong enough to push the giant Aussies that time. But that wasn’t the first rock show I’ve been to, there’s been some back in Malaysia that I’ve experienced but those were nothing compared to Western atmosphere, as you know, Malaysian crowds are not as wild or painful as the ones in Australia, even when Linkin Park came to Malaysia, they commented that Malaysians are too quiet! Haha! Damn, these Australians really know how to partaaaaay! Good on them! This time I don’t care liao, nobody’s getting in my way when it comes to LP! Go, jump up and down and hit people, slap people, push people in the crowd, rip their clothes off, don’t care, you gotta be hard rock in attitude to be in the crowd of rock-heads, feel LP’s music getting into your soul! Hahahahaha XD Be metal! Thanks to Alvin, I’m getting used to this man! Go ahead, push me, knock me and step on my nice clean shoes…but one thing cannot do……don’t pull my hair la…later i botak ler…T_T

Anyway, that was one kick ass concert. Hope there’s more, more Linkin Park! Come back and give us more rocky fun! Damn, they’re performing the next day somemore for AUS$50! Crazy man, too bad I can’t go…French Exam on the next day… X’O F88K BBQ%$^&*@#?!

Sigh, have to get back to French studies, later Madame fail me…then Andy don’t wanna friend me already…ahahaha…XD, sorry guys, I’m sorta high right now. Next performance…mmm…wonder when Yellowcard will be coming again? And…will Nickelback and P.O.D ever come?
And will Michael Jackson ever perform again?! oh wait…that’s pop, whoops…typing error…XP

Good night!

Limkokwing fuckheads!!!

January 17th, 2007 by jennifer-tyl

Okay, I think the management in Limkokwing University has gotten out of hand. I never wanna write anything like this about the college which I have spent 3 years studying in it, but what the college has provided made me lose my patience. I’m sorry for any Limkokwing supporters out there but y’all just gotta face the fact and bear with my saying. Limkokwing Uni has done ENOUGH and it’s not getting away with this I SWEAR!!! I FREAKIN’ SWEAR!!!

So many things happened and I even lost count of them. Let me just talk about today’s story.
Basically it all started today when I was on my way to get my semester 6 results and my buddy Jessica was suppose to settle her application regarding the security deposit. So at first I went to check the faculty, the phone line was engaged and I couldn’t make any calls to the staffs, so that’s fine, we went to the registry to let Jessica do her thing first. It’s really weird this time, I never remember since when the system in the bursary need people to claim a number ticket and have a seat then wait for turns to come, it’s like making some identity card or passport, very "interesting", something new I guess, something new which was so DAMN USELESS and the calling was even SLOWER!!! We waited there for hours(we lost count on the hours), and the person who called out people’s number never even give a clear calling, me and Jessica were pissed and I told them that "I suggest that you all should put up some loudspeaker or microphone la!!!" I don’t know what has gotten into me, I was pretty mad when the staff was overlooking at Jessica’s application form and talking so much in the most meaningless matter until I used my tone at him by saying "JUST DO IT!"…I really dunno what happen back there.

After that we went to the faculty to proceed, I collected my resutls slip while Jessica got her form signed by the bursary and faculty, now comes to the worst and most disgraceful part. We stepped into the Registry to get the last signature, and then there’s this Malay tudung-head woman sitting at the counter, taking charge as a registry staff. I looked at her and I thought maybe I remember her…and I did remember her, she could be the lady who talk rude to my mother once when I was doing my application. I told Jessica "Oh no, be careful…I think I know her…" So we asked whether if we can get the form signed and get a photocopy as an acknowledgement, the lady explained how the deposit is gonna work and then she told us "leave it to us, not to worry" but still, we want a photocopy of that form to keep as evidence. Hear this conversation as followed:

Jessi & Jenni: "Can we have the photocopy of the form?"
That stupid woman said "We normally don’t give photocopies to student"
Jenni: "What do you mean? I got a photocopy during that time when I apply"
The bitch replied: "Sorry la, I just don’t feel like going to the Registry office now ler, I mean, some more the photostat machine is not here"
(What the fuck is wrong with this stupid bitch?! What kind of a lame excuse was that??? That was the lamest and most irresponsible task a staff could do???)
Jessi continued: "But I really need the photocopy, because my father will need to see it"
Jenni: "Ya, just have it signed and photocopy it ler"
You know what happen next? That bitch just grabbed the form, got up from her chair in the most ill-mannered way and storm out of the Registry room, heading to the Registry office. Jessica was like "OMG, that woman ar, if she don’t like her job, she better go quit la, don’t work. I mean, is there a problem photocopying a paper? Simple as that also cannot do?!"
Then just in a few minutes, the bitch came back with a photocopied and fully-signed form. She just fling the paper to us and said "NEXT!" straight to the other awaiting students. I said "Thank you very much" in a rude way, but Jessica said "Hey, no need to say thank you to her la, face like shit only!" Then I agreed and I banged the Registry door on our way out, to scare the hell out of that asshole-bitch.

When that happened, I flashbacked and remembered, I was right that she was the idiotic bitch who didnt want to photocopy my form when my mom ask for it previously, that bitch can even think that she has the right to question my mom, "Why? Why wanna photocopy?"
Oh my god! I think she has problems making friends with the photostat machine! It’s like she hates to touch it and use it! It’s her enemy! Her worst nightmare! The innocent photostat machine was her worst nightmare!!! Or what? Was she plotting something to support the LUCT finance? She wanna help the apeface Tan Sri to become richer and not giving us the fucking deposit izzit??? No wonder la they all kept quiet! Never inform us anything about the deposit AT ALL!!! Thanks to my mom and her curiousity, I had the chance to let my friends know. Fuck you, LUCT!!!

Okay, back to the story, we were freaking pissed and we’re not gonna let that sohai bitch get away with that kind of attitude, so we walked and thought…I had an idea and we went to the Registry back again to find out what’s that bitch’s name. I took Jessica’s photocopied form and look at the last signature the Registry made. It was signed by Cynthia. We went to Registry office and find no sign of that bitch, I asked whether Cynthia is in, and Cynthia came out. She was a much nicer lady, we asked "who was the person who gave you this form to sign?" Cynthia answered "Oh, it was Intan"
Haha, when we got the name, all I can say, "haha, you’re dead meat woman!"
Then we remembered the name "Intan" and went to Student services to give them a feedback and yep, you can say, a complaint. Even the people in the Student services department are much more polite and nicer, sigh, why can’t that stupid bitch Intan be more like them. Tsk, tsk, made Limkokwing name bad to da max liao. All her fault Limkokwing’s going down. But before that, she’s going down first.
We wrote our complaints like a piece of essay, pretty long if you may say, all about Intan and her "wonderful" job. After we sent our feedbacks, all I can think was: "Good luck Intan! Prepare to get fired bitch! Congratz on doing such a wonderful job giving fucked-up services to students of LUCT, you fucking-cibai-head! Hope you get the so-called Love letter by the mockhead baboon Tan Sri! Then we can go home and celebrate!!! YAY!"
Intan u useless piece of shit! Haiyo, next time if we ever still see you in LUCT, maybe we can have the oppurtunity…to SCREW your head with a photostat machine!!! Screw you and photocopy your face until you blind and until you DIE!!!NYAHAHAHAHAHA! Hasta la vista fuckhead!

Oh, not to forget, fuck u too LUCT! For producing such improper management and having unprofessional-untrained-untalented-unfriendly and fucking brainless sohai staffs to work here! You going down bitches! WAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Comic Fiesta rocks ^^

December 18th, 2006 by jennifer-tyl

Comic Fiesta 2006, 17th December, 3-someting p.m.

Lol, first time entering the comic fest and my main objective was to meet the stars of MnU, the group of local artists who do illustrative contents for artbooks and creative animation. More willingly, to meet Alphaleo(his nick), or Raymond Yap(his real name), my idol whom I met in Deviant Art and he talked to me before in MSN. An incredibly talented guy and I was so looking forward to see him in person.

Firstly, I invited Jessica to the fest. We met Jimmy there too and we were lost at first, but however, we managed to find him in the end. There were lots and lots of cosplayers dressing up as…er…let’s see…there were the cast of Naruto characters, FF characters, even the Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2(I took picture with that monster, nyehe), Jigoku Shoujo/Girl From Hell (the anime version is so cute and pretty, but the cosplayer is ugly, buek…XD), Kingdom Hearts characters…more to name. I can see that Jessica was very happy to meet her favorite characters played by cosplayers. Glad to see that she’s happy :D.

As we walked to the MnU booth, Jimmy and Jessica were standing there to look at the artbooks sold by MnU. I saw Alphaleo(in his Lion King t-shirt, very cool TLK tee) and yes, I was a bit nervous to go to him…very excited too, I was like ‘omigosh…omigosh…omigosh…’ and Jessica was like, ‘Go la, go meet your Alphaleo la!’ lol. I took up the courage and went forward,
then I asked, ‘Hi, Alphaleo?’
The guy said: Hi, yes?
I continued: Raymond Yap, right?
He answered: Yeah…?
I asked: You don’t recognize me?
He said: Lillidan…ah, Jennifer!!!
I was so glad that he knew me at the end, he even mentioned that I look like my wolf character(which I posted in Friendster earlier) when I’m dressed in my blue tee. I told him I did it purposely so that he will be able to recognize me easier. Then we chatted for a while and I introduced him to Jessica and Jimmy, telling him that they’re his juniors. It’s nice to see Jessica communicating with him as well, he is really friendly, awesome guy I must say. I bought the MnU illustrative content from them and even asked them to sign their autographs in it, especially Alphaleo’s one! I must get his!!! haha!
We visited the rest of the places and I thought of my brother’s birthday and bought him a Naruto headband premium! Lol! After watching a couple of stage shows, I went to snap a picture with Alphaleo as a memory that I have met him before. That IS SO COOL! hehe, sorry if I get excited too much…but I’m just too excited!!! LOL!

That is the end of our day at our first Comic Fiesta of 2006. Thank you. XD

Evil people, cruel people, stupid people!!!

Why? Why? Why?!!!

Subang Jaya, Wednesday, 26/4/2006, very early in the morning probably-

While the people in our family were asleep…1 or 2 robbing bastards broke into our house working in all nice, tidy and co-operative way without breaking any of our house doors or messing up our living room. Damn those sons of a bitches took our laptops, digicams, celphones, and Mama’s favorite Rolex watch! What’s more, how dare they throw the housekeys into out garden like they don’t care. Si Bastards! Berani betul, ambik kitorang punya laptop and barang kemas, lagi buang kunci rumah merata-rata tempat lagi tak tutup pintu! Hope the police do something about this quick!

OMFG, in my 20 years, this is happening in my life, first time ever!!! Before that, there were minor robberies. This time is huge! This is awfully bad! Ni tangan orang2 mesti kena potong la macam dulu masa abab ke-16. Curi tulang lagi curi barang, tak malu ke? Bastards, think we’re rich @$$holes ar? We work like shit for our reward you know?! Those muthafookers will come back for more! ARGH! Bastards! If they ever come back, oh yeah, we’ll be ready for them, if they’re violent and heartless, we can do that too, we’ll be 200 times more violent and cruel than them, we can, and we will!!! ARGH, bastards! We’ll pray really, really hard that God shall punish you all heartless thieves! Bastards!Did I mention bastards earlier?

Sorry for the angry words, people, but if this happens to you, you’ll probably go mad too and start typing out of yer bloody pissed off minds.

Peace out.

Game review: Colossus rules!

March 4th, 2006 by jennifer-tyl

Just finish playing Sony Entertainment’s Shadow of the Colossus. It’s a freakin’ awesome game, man. One of the best fantasy games I’ve ever laid my hands on since God of War.

Though some people might not get it or find it dull, well, guess what, they are sooo wrong, just because there isn’t any bashing and clashing the enemies, the game stick to its original concept and spawn a different gameplay. It’s also a thinking game. A thinking action game! It’s like a small guy versus a titan type of game. It blends with unique concept and meaningful storyline. Plus, the gameplay graphics is just as stunning, though it’s not made in CGI(Computer Generated Image) but in low-poly animation. For the sake of the gameplay, it has to use low-poly, even the cinematics. Maybe the CG people might get this. Anyway, don’t admire the hero, he’s not the center of the attraction in the game, it’s the 16 colossuses you have to gloat upon! Ha-ha.

The story starts off with a hero wanderer, Wander and his horse, Agro. In his arms he carries the dead body of his beloved. The duo set off and brought themselves to a deserted fantasy land where the 16 colossus inhabited. They came upon a great temple and Wander, requested the great light of the temple to reincarnate the life of his beloved. Of course you know, the great light will not help for free. He told Wander in order to so, the hero must complete a certain task, that is defeating the 16 magnificent colossuses.

Players must interact and control Wander, help him to complete the tasks. Then the hero shall fulfill his wish and the player will get to see a climax ending as their rewards! haha.

So people, players, fantasy lovers! Play the game, I promise you will have the time of your gaming life!

Rating: 5/5 stars. Excellent.

Weee!!! AUS$300, here I come!!!

February 10th, 2006 by jennifer-tyl

It’s been a pleasure for me when I got a call from an organizer from Melbourne college who just informed me that I’ve won in the character design competition! Didn’t expect anything like that to happen.

Just wanna thank Graeme for organizing this awesome competition, it’s been a great experience. If it weren’t for this competition, I wouldn’t have got to know my new WACOM tablet because I’ve been using this thing to develope my conceptual visuals for the character design of this competition. Hope to work with the people there.

And also, I want to thank my college pal, Jeremiah Ong for recommending the WACOM for me, and my dad for giving me the money to buy it. :p My mom, who has looked through my work and supported me, God, Lord Buddha for guiding me and last but not least my x-lecturer, Kevin Tan who passed and forwarded this contest to us. Thank you to all of you!!!
